"This is my favorite Indian restaurant in town. They'll tailor dishes to your desires and also recommend off-menu items (like a spicy garlic chicken) that are flat-out delicious. Prices are reasonable, too, and the decor is modest but cozy and nice. The owner really takes pride in the food he serves, and you can taste the difference. Best of India is a treasure in the Twin Cities culinary scene, and an integral part of what makes Texa-Tonka desirable."

"I always have a wonderful meal here. The paneer kaddai is delectable and the daal is creamy and sumptuous. We get such good service and tonight we had Lachedar paratas which were not on the menu but the owner was so generous to make it for us. I have been coming here since 2010 and it is my favorite."
