"This is arguably the best Indian restaurant in the Twin Cities area. The food is perfectly spiced. A lot of people confuse spicy with ‘hot’. Spicy actually means flavored and the restaurant does a fantastic job with the flavors. We come here frequently. The fish fry is to die for! The meat perfectly marinated and tender. In other words, the food is great! It’s so good that we also cater through Best of India. The owner himself cooks and takes a lot of pride in his work. Not sure why someone posted a poor review below, but it’s hard to believe that. Best of India is definitely the best in the Twin Cities area."

"Best of India is the best kept secret in the Twin Cities. It is not often that I come home from dinner to immediately write a review (in fact, I have never done this), but in the case of this restaurant, it is warranted. The owner, whose name I will get next time I’m in, is so sweet and warm-hearted; and the dining room feels like a home, with beautiful dish ware and plants in the window. The chai? It’s phenomenal, completely out of this world. The garlic naan is not only delicious and practically melts in your mouth, but the serving size is also out of control. You get a big bang for your buck. The entree I chose was the paneer tiki masala, which was INCREDIBLE: firm paneer in a beautiful sauce, with perfectly fluffed rice on the side. The sauce was plentiful, too, so I was able to generously dip my naan in it. I could have gone up one notch in heat level but am glad I kept it tame to begin. I did overhear the owner asking another table if they wanted “hot” or “Indian hot,” which is incredible. All in all, I couldn’t recommend Best of India more. You will not be disappointed with the food, and the hearts behind this establishment will entirely win you over."
