"Awesome chicken tikka masala and palak paneer. And bottomless chai! As the name indicates, best of Minneapolis."

"Their food is amazing. Lamb Green Masala was perfect texture and perfect spice(very spicy) as I had ordered. The dining area is nothing special and kinda cramped but who cares go in and grab your order to go and have a feast in front of the TV! Big portions, great food, kind staff."

"Favorite Indian buffet in the twin cities. Excellent veggie dishes. Goat meat every day. $11 for the buffet, tax included. Nice for work team lunches."

"This is possibly the best Indian food in the Twin Cities. The food is excellent - high quality and very well prepared. This is also a great place if you need gluten free options. The vegetarian dishes are savory and filling and the vegetables are never mushy. They also have a fish green masala that is heavenly. I have also found that they are very willing to adjust the spice level depending on your needs. If you ask for a dish to be made mild, it will actually be mild, not slightly less scorchingly hot as at some restaurants. I also have to mention the holiday buffets. The standard lunch buffet is always delicious, but they pull out all the stops for major holidays, including Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you like Indian food, you must visit Best of India."

"Best of India arguably serves the best Indian food in the Twin Cities. They have the typical dishes (vindaloo, naan, tandoori chicken, palak paneer, etc.- all excellent) and also unique dishes (Fish Green Curry is something I had never had before and is outstanding), with consistent heat levels to satisfy any pallet. Their daily lunch buffet is great and their buffets for various holidays (Independence Day, Mother's Day, to name a couple) are really special. They prepare dishes that aren't on their menu. All of the food and ingredients are high-quality. The staff are friendly and quickly remember repeat customers. If you like Indian food, go to Best of India. You'll love it."

"I visited this restaurant for weekend lunch buffet 3 weeks back.. understood why this is rated one of the top places to enjoy spicy indian cuisine..
Buffet items like Mutton curry, butter chicken, gajar ka halwa etc were scrumptious.
This is a nice n simple place.. highly recommended!
Went there again with my family (from eden prairie) and food was superb as expected.."
